I have been hypnotised by Mother Russia for the past year.

Why i want to be a Christmas decoration

I have decided this week to channel the inner ethos of Bacchus - the Roman god of being merry and excess (i also acknowledge i am slightly stuck in the past this month, maybe it is the end of the year. Maybe it is because i am reading a book on mythology. Who knows).

I digress. I want to be as festive as possible, from dripping in seasonal sparkle to dressing in a metallic piece every day. Maybe i am just projecting i want to be a bauble and spend 11 and a half months of the year shut in the loft... Maybe i just saw this jacket and it inspired me...

Thirteen and Tattooed

I have been meaning to post this for a long time.

Sometimes you see a picture and it makes you aware of what you are missing in life. A thirteen year old Russian boy who is covered in tattoos.

Welcome to the family

I'm panting and on my knees in front of these...

I feel like how Augustus Gloop did when faced with a chocolate river... So in love and over awed i might be sick. I want to wear these creations on my hands and feet and never take them off.

These will be the fully studded litas baby sisters...

Bring Out Your Boadicea

Boadicea was the warrior queen of the Iceni tribe.

Flaming hair and snarling lips, she was what we all aspire to be, strong, ruthless and smart – crushing all in her path that dared to try and take her land...

I think we all need a little more Boadicea in us. That’s why, this winter I have decided to pay homage and will only dress as if saluting her fiery ways.

From thick fur to lustful tweeds and more treasure than a Roman Empire longboat... My first plunder is going to be this Russian trapper from luxury Canadian brand Nobis.

Fully (faux) fur lined will ensure noble heads are kept warm. I’m going to team mine with a Westwood dress and smothered in statement Gold.

The Sue Sue is available at Harrods for a princely sum of £80.
